Interview with the authors:

::Number One: What is Enchanted and how did it come about?::

Akiko: Enchanted is a RPG, our own little (actually big) storyline and it came to be out of boredom.
Hoshi: Yup, what she said. I started to RP with another friend of mine then finally the both of us were bored and I asked her if she wanted to RP or try to, and despite the both of us not being great at it, we finally got the hang of it and it grew to be a big part of our lives.

::Number Two: Why a title like ‘Enchanted’?::

Akiko: We chose Enchanted because....it relates somehow to the paranormal world? Like enchantment...cant for sure remember why we did choose it.
Hoshi: I think we chose it because during the second book or whatever, they were called the Enchanted by numerous creatures and people so we decided that's what they would be called. It's like Buffy being called the Slayer and Prue, Piper, Phoebe and later on Paige being called the Charmed Ones. I guess it some how went to that.
Akiko: Probably something like that and then we had the restaurant in the second book as well and as to why we called them the Enchanted? It just somehow popped up and fit, stuck around and there we had it.
Hoshi: I think it was the third book that the restaurant came about but yeah, basically it just popped up somehow and stuck. It's like many things that have made up this RPG of ours.

::Number Three: What made you choose an RPG about vampires/witches/demons etc?::

Akiko: Hm, because they were the most interesting and we could have more or well different kinds of drama. We had more choices to make and could just make it more interesting instead of like your everyday boring ol' normal romance or something story.
Hoshi: I do agree. There are so many options and choices we could make with vampires, demons, witches and the like. Things you may have seen else where and things that you may not have seen much if at all. Plus, since a lot of these creatures are figments of our imagination we can manipulate them to our liking. So it's been fun to have fun with those different types of creatures and people to play around with.
Akiko: And includes a loooooot more drama. *grins* Which we love of course...for the most part.
Hoshi: Well, until it gets to be too much of course. *grins*

:: Number Four: How long has it been going on and how many ‘books’ do you have so far?::

Akiko: Oh boy, three-four years? And think we're on our 5th book, or 6th.
Hoshi: Yeah, I believe so. *grin* It was the end of our Junior year and that was in...2004? 2003? So yeah, it's been going on for a while. I believe we're on our sixth...or maybe it's the fifth. We have a lot to write out and work on before we get it all up and going but it's been a fun trip from how it was at the beginning and knowing where it is now.
Akiko: Umm 2004 *grins* Yea, we still have to divide parts up and see where the Fifth book ends and if there is a Sixth then see where it begins.
Hoshi: Yup, exactly. Hopefully we can think of new things and new situations to work on. I think the tides have already been changing for the Enchanted and now to see how it all plays out. The interesting part of RPG's is the fact that the characters take on a life of their own and they become a part of you and so there are times that they even surprise you where they take you and what ends up happening.
Akiko: Very true, and it depends on how much you put into the RPG, of whether the characters will come to life for you or not.

::Number Five: Does your world revolve around your RPG?::

Hoshi: It seems like it. Though, to me that's not such a bad thing. *grin*
Akiko: *grins* Yea, seems like it to me as well which sometimes isnt really a good thing *grins* Especially when dealing with college. But there are times that we do take a break from it because of college or just overall not sure where to go with the RPG and since we don't want to ruin it then we quite and figure out where to go.
Hoshi: Sometimes it isn't, especially when we're busy with Art classes or computer classes or whatever it is we're taking at that moment. *grins* But, yeah, there are times we take breaks and such and just figure out what to do with it before we ruin it. But, I look at it this way, there could be worse things we're addicted to. Drugs, alcohol, sex...
