Piper looked David over briefly and smiled. "Hey David."
"Hey Piper, how are you?"
She shrugged her shoulders. "I've been alright. Thrilled that it's finally spring break and there won't be any teachers or homework for a week, plus that we're getting to all be together," she grinned over at him, causing him to grin in return.
"I thought you'd be happy about that. I'm glad as well." Was he glad! He had always liked the brunette sitting next to him. He liked her for who she was and how she presented herself and it was safe to say that he definitely liked her a lot more than he did her twin sister. Everyone thought Hoshiko and Piper Allison were a lot a like, but if anyone actually spent time around the two of them, they would fully see just how different the twins were. While Piper tended to be outgoing, independent, stubborn, and sarcastic, she was also undoubtedly loyal to those that she valued as family and didn't particularly care if people liked her or not. Hoshiko, on the other hand, didn't care about anyone but herself; she was a drama queen and loved to be in the spot light wherever she went. She didn't care about who she had to hurt in the process, so long that she got her way in the end. The only things the two shared were their brunette hair and their figures, but that's where the similarities ended.
"Oh, I'm very happy about that," she grinned at him and relaxed her body into the seat next to him. "How's everything been for you lately?"
"It's been good lately. Almost going crazy with those two," he nodded his head to Mercedes and Ben, "but all in all, it's been pretty good."
Piper laughed softly, understanding just what he was saying. "I know what you mean," she grinned at him, causing him to grin in response. "You can get some sleep if you'd like. You seem tired," she gazed into his eyes in which showed a little fatigue.
He smiled softly at her, touched by her concern for him but not getting his hopes up for anything more than friendly concern. "Think I may."
In front of two in the far back seat, Ben and Jordan were having the same conversations about spring break being a time away from school and no homework. Jordan gazed around the van, spotting Vin and Hoshiko talking and glances back at the two occupying the back, smiling at them talking quietly to each other. She glanced back at Ben, not being able to help but looking his body over quickly then looking into his handsome, grinning face. 'Way too damn hot when he grins,' she shook her head, mostly to clear the thoughts from it for the time being.
Ben watched Jordan with grin as if knowing what she was thinking. "Still upset we're not going to Florida?"
Jordan groaned inwardly. 'Good God. Way too damn hot for his own good. A woman could faint 'cause of that. Come to think about it, his smirk is hot too. If he does that now, I'll have to just jump him.' "Not so much anymore. Who wouldn't want to go to the middle of no where for spring break with four handsome men?"
Her answer made him smirk in amusement. Jordan blinked at him then narrowed her eyes suspiciously. 'What the – he couldn't, could he? No he couldn't,' she shook her head to herself.
"Glad to hear the excitement in your voice," he smirked. "It should be a lot of fun and I sense new beginnings coming with this vacation. Fun and new beginnings," he continued on, watching her reaction intently.
Watching him, she slowly nodded her head in agreement, hoping for new beginnings for the two of them as well. She turned her attention to the window and leaned her head against the glass.
Ben watched her with a soft grin, shaking his head inwardly. 'Well, at least I know that she thinks I'm hot and wants to jump my bones. Hm, wonder if she'll act on that impulse during this vacation. This should be one hell of a trip indeed.'
Paul turned around to look at the other six people in the van. "We're almost there so whoever is asleep should probably wake up soon. We have about fifteen or twenty minutes until we arrive."
Piper looked down at a sleeping David, whose head was lying on her shoulder. 'He looks so peaceful and cute when he's asleep. I'd hate to wake him up.' She ran her fingers through his hair. He moved closer to her, his head leaning into her hand. He murmured her name softly and sighed contently. Piper looked up, seeing the two in the seat in front of them turn around. She caught Jordan's grin and arched an eyebrow.
"Seems like someone is having a good dream about you, Pip," she grinned, glancing at David before looking back at the girl. "I dare you to kiss him to wake him up."
Piper narrowed her eyes at the other brunette, "I don't think so."
"But Piper Allison never turns down dares," Ben smirked at her, his best friend and brother liking the girl a great deal and wanting him to be happy.
Jordan grinned. "He's right, Pip and not on the cheek either," she said, mischief shining in her eyes.
Piper kept her eyes narrowed at the two and growled low more to herself than anyone else. "Damnit," she muttered but only half heartedly. Ever since she laid eyes on her best friend's roommate -slash-brother, she had a crush on him. His tall and muscular figure with those smoldering brown eyes, it was safe to say many fantasies of hers stared him in nothing but a towel (that stayed on for all of five seconds). She tilted her head so she could have better access to his lips and gave him a soft kiss, pulling back moments later. Licking her lips she ran her hand through his hair. "David, time to wake up. We're almost there." Her voice was soft and she smiled softly as he shifted, showing signs of waking.
Opening his eyes slowly, David tried to piece together if he had been dreaming or if what he presumed to be a kiss really happened. Blinking his eyes open, he moved his head and stretched his legs out as much as he could. He caught Jordan and Ben's amused faces and arched an eyebrow, curious as to what they were amused over.
"Have a good nap?" Piper smiled at him softly. He turned his attention to her and nodded his head with a soft smile.
"I bet you had a really good dream too," Ben smirked.
"Shut up, Ben," she narrowed her eyes at him and relaxed back into the seat, turning her attention to their surroundings outside of the van. She turned her head back around as she heard Jordan snicker softly.
"Hush Pip, you know you enjoyed your dare."
"Go to hell, Jordan," she remarked.
"How about no, I've been there a few times and don't' really care for it too much."
Piper grinned and shrugged. "But you could always have tea with Hitler! That's always fun."
Jordan arched an eyebrow with a grin. "Still, I rather not; I don't care for that place too much."
Piper smirked. "Aw, poor Hitler has no one to drink tea with. Which reminds me, need to go down there sometime and have fun killing him again, that's always fun."
"I forgot that you had an elevator to hell in your closet. He probably misses you, Pip."
Ben smirked in amusement. "He probably misses the things that you do to him because he gets off on it."
Piper blinked at Ben and shook her head, "For one, that's gross and for two, I do have an elevator to hell but it's an off season if you know what I mean." Ben, Jordan and David laughed at that while Hoshiko and Vin, who were listening to them, just rolled their eyes and shook their heads.
